Golden Tulip Warri Airport Hotel gets new General Manager

The newly appointed General Manager, Mr. Sam. Obiri Aduama, who is no stranger to the Golden Tulip Hospitality Group's Brand Standards, Tradition and Culture, was the former General Manager of Golden Tulip Kumasi City, Ghana.

He comes with a vast experience in the hospitality industry where he has worked over the last two decades in different positions and units.

A graduate in Business Administration from the Atlantic International University School of Business and Economics, in the United States of America where he majored in Management.

Aduama took an Electrical Technician Engineering course at the Accra Polytechnic from 1983 to 1989 after his high school certificate from Koforidua Secondary Technical School in Ghana.

He started his hospitality stint as Head Electrician with the Golden Tulip Accra, Ghana. He rose through the ranks from Assistant Chief Engineer, Communication Engineer, Technical Services Manager all in Golden Tulip Accra and the top echelon in Kumasi as the General Manger for a little over two years.

He was also at a point in Golden Tulip Festac, Lagos. His professional, managerial and technical acumen over the years have also earned him and the various hotels in which he had worked over the years a number of awards and accolades.

Mr. Aduama who is married with three children has since resumed duties at the hotel, and described the Golden Tulip Warri Airport as highly rated, well located and apportioned with the best hospitality facilities ready to offer rich blend of international standard flavoured with local ambience and cuisine.

While pledging his commitment to taking the hotel to a new height and a signature hospitality home for leisure and entertainment for guest living or passing through the Delta state especially Warri.

The Ghanaian born manager, said achieving the top height, is a collective work as he is focused on working on the psyche of the hotel's staff to anticipate and exceed guest expectations while making return on investment.

His vision for the hotel, he said is "to be a one-stop secured hospitality destination in Nigeria where comfortable yet luxury accommodation, meeting and banquet, international and local cuisines, with world class recreation, sports, beauty salon and entertainment facilities are available to host and maintain all guests and events coming to Warri and its surrounding areas."
